I am artist, researcher and professor at the University of Barcelona in the Department of Visual Arts and Design, where I teach different subjects in the Bachelor of Fine Arts. I am director of Idensitat, a platform that works for the interrelation between artistic practices, production and research related with social spaces. Until November 2021 I have been deputy director of EINA University School of Designa and Art, attached to the UAB Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I am a member of the faculty and professor of the Master PERMEA Experimental Program of Mediation and Education through Art (University of Valencia and Consortium of Museums of the Valencian Community). Between 2000 and 2010 I have worked at Elisava Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona (attached to Universitat Pompeu Fabra UPF), as Head of Postgraduate and Master's Studies, and also as member of direction board. Between 2010 and 2018 I was director of ACVIC Centre d’Arts Contemporànies (Contemporary Art Centre). It was able to promote different publications on topics that relate art, education, and territory. One of the relevant projects was Participatory Arts for Invisible Communities (2016-18), a competitive artistic research project, co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the EU. In 2013, I did a three-month residency in Mexico City, (funded by the Fundación Jumex). The results of this work were presented in the exhibition "Traslocation. Temporal experiences, artistic practices and local contexts", (2015) at Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona). Since 2019 I have been the director of IDENSITAT, from where I have participated in five projects within the framework of the Creative Europe Cooperation Projects program. In all of them I have been the principal researcher of the different projects, in the part corresponding to the Spanish context: ECLECTIS (2012-14), ARTIZEN (2014-16), SoOC (2019-21), ETI (2019-2021), Who Cares? (2020-2022). And in tow competitive projects funded by the Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean: ART- TERRITORY (2020-2021), DIES (2021). The research activities that I have been carrying out are focused on the relationship between artistic practices and social space. On these topics and lines of research I have written articles that has been published in different books and magazines.
