PhDHub is the first Italian online platform entirely dedicated to mapping and comparing doctoral programmes in the arts and music across Europe and English-speaking countries. Officially launched on 5 June 2025 at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome—lead partner of the Enacting Artistic Research (EAR) project, funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU—the platform serves as a dynamic and continuously updated tool. Designed for students, researchers, faculty, and institutions, PhDHub provides detailed information on doctoral programme structures, admission requirements, objectives, and methodologies, fostering critical reflection and comparison across diverse educational models. The initiative builds on the pioneering experience of the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, the first Italian institution to activate doctoral programmes in partnership with universities and artistic institutions. The final version of the platform will be released by the end of February 2026, contributing to a broader vision of international, inclusive, and quality-driven third-cycle education in the fields of art and music.
