Veronica Di Geronimo earned her PhD in Art Theory from Peking University, where she focused on the presentation of contemporary Chinese art in Italy from 1989 to 2020, a research that received the Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award. She got a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and a Master's degree in Contemporary Art from the University of Rome La Sapienza.

In 2019, Veronica was awarded a scholarship from La Sapienza University to conduct research abroad, allowing her to study as a visiting student at Peking University. After graduating, she curated the exhibition "Syncretisms: Dao between East and West" at Lo Studiolo and worked as artistic mediator for the art exhibition "Jungle of Growth" at the National Gallery of Rome, organised in collaboration with the Today Art Museum of Beijing.

In 2022, Veronica Di Geronimo received a research grant to work as a Junior Scientist at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome for a European research project funded by Horizon2020. In 2024, she received the Peking University International Student Award. Her research interests include the globalisation of Chinese contemporary art and new media in artistic research. She is currently a researcher at the Fine Arts Academy of Rome.
