This is a presentation of the master project 'Architecture as a vehicle for composing and improvising'. Written at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, Spring 2020.
The thesis consists of a presentation of my background as an improviser and composer. Four case studies and a conclusion.
The research questions I am investigating are:
1. How can architecture be used as a vehicle for composing and improvising music?
2. How can architecture be used as a tool for understanding and evaluating music?
