Simon Aeberhard

Simon Aeberhard is an assistant lecturer in German Literature at University of Basel (Switzerland). One of his research interests is centred around questions on the ontological relationship between symbolisation and performance in different art forms. Aeberhard completed his PhD in 2011 and is currently working on his second book on new and resistant notions of writing and notation in several artistic domains after Second World War. He is, among others, author of Theater am Nullpunkt [Drama Degree Zero] (Rombach 2012) and co-editor of dialÄktik [dialect_ics] (Chronos 2014), a volume dealing with Swiss German literature on the brink of dialect and standard language.
