Renée Charron studied Architecture at McGill University (Montreal), Fine Arts and Art Education at Concordia University (Montreal), where she also obtained her MA degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is presently part-time professor of Drawing at the faculty of Architecture, and of Design at the faculty of Interior Design at the University of Montreal while pursuing a research-creation Doctorate degree in the Humanities’ Interdisciplinary Studies program at Concordia University with an emphasis on drawing. Her theoretical and trans-disciplinary practice are grounded in Process Philosophy and probe the interval of drawing in relation to performance and architecture.
