Field Guide
The current chapter is divided into two sections. First, the broader outlines of my field are discussed, delineating the notions of live electronics, cybersonics, and related theoretical frameworks. While this part of the text already points to several pivotal artists whose artistic works are of major importance for my practice, the second part expands upon this contextualization by discussing a selection of fellow artists, composers and improvisers whose practices speak to my research in exemplary ways.
