This sound installation was created by Morten Eide Pedersen, Sigurd Fischer Olsen and Ruben Sverre Gjertsen and presented 22/1-2012 in the home of Grieg at Troldhaugen. Tracks were placed on loop at 3 places in the house, on independent loops. By playing the three tracks below all at once and restarting tracks as they stop, you will get an impression of this work. This is the complete audio for the installation.

Morten used an NRK interview with Gjendine Slålien. Everything related to Gjendine and Griegs versions of her songs were contributed by Morten Eide Pedersen. Sigurd used recordings of Griegs String quartet and Klokkeklang. Ruben used manipulated spectral analysis of Grieg performing butterfly, with concrete butterflies, transposed and spatialized, and various sounds inspired by each environment within the house. We1 edited all these materials together  into one collage for each room.
