A lot of the time, the world feels like it's filled with judgment and people who
talk about us in a demeaning way, and we as people have to be able to overcome
all of this negativity in our own power. The main concept of the construction is
to challenge people to focus on themselves through a mirror-glass while having
distracting sounds and visuals controlled by another person on the other end of
the structure. This interaction consists of 2 parties: the victim of criticism and
the criticizer.

Ένας νεαρός ήθελε να πάει σε ένα club να διασκεδάσει, αλλά δυστυχώς οι καιρικές συνθήκες και η έλλειψη μεταφορικού μέσου δεν του το επέτρεπαν. Έτσι, έκλεψε το «μαγικό τζίνι» από την γριά γειτόνισσα και ευχήθηκε να έρθει το club σπίτι του. Αμέσως σκοτείνιασε όλο το δωμάτιο και εμφανίστηκε, σαν μια αστραπή, ακριβώς μπροστά του ένα μικρό άσπρο κουτί. Αυτός έμεινε άναυδος και αναρωτιέται τι είναι αυτό το κουτί. Πήγε σιγά – σιγά κοντά του και το κοιτούσε με περιέργεια. Μετά από λίγο αρχίζει να το περιεργάζεται. Σε κάποια φάση όταν το κτυπά με το δάκτυλο του καταλάθος πάνω στο κουτί, αρχίζει να παίζει μουσική και να παίζουν ρυθμικά φωτάκια σαν ένα κανονικό club.
Ξαφνικά, έρχεται η γριά γειτόνισσα μέσα στο δωμάτιο, η οποία κατάλαβε ότι της κλάπηκε το «μαγικό τζίνι», και αρχίζει να φωνάζει και να ρωτά γιατί της έκλεψε ο γείτονας το τζίνι και γιατί έχει τόση φασαρία. Από τα νεύρα της παίρνει το κουτί και αλλάζει τα καλώδια και αρχίζει να παίζουν τα συνηθισμένα ακούσματα της, οι ειδήσεις. Αμέσως μετά, έρχεται και ο άντρας της, ο οποίος ήθελε να δει τον ποδοσφαιρικό αγώνα. Έτσι, αλλάζει κι’ αυτός τα καλώδια και ακούγετε η στιγμή που η ομάδα του βάζει το γκολ στο 90’ και φωνάζει γεμάτος από χαρά.

A motion sensor designed using a picture as a reference. The sensor was made using arduino and whenever it detects motion, it makes a sound.

In the future, due to the destruction of our ecosystem, many species have
gone extinct. Among them, fireflies. Future humanity has only images of
them left. A group of engineers have gathered to replicate the feeling of
being around fireflies for future generations to experience.

Time Period: 1870
In the Franco-German war of 1870-1871, the Germans prevented the French fleet from reaching their ports by using mines detonated by an electric cable from the land. Until the Russo-Turkish War, the mine was thus considered a defensive weapon, when in May 1877 a small group of Russian divers descending the Lower Danube placed an electric mine on the propeller of the Ottoman warship Dar Matoin, causing the ship to explode and sink. Our team tracked down a small mine from the debris of warship “Dar Matoin” in the early 2000s and we started researching it.
