ANTICIPATION - Performance, art and design

My performance art practice as an artist and researcher has become crucial to test ideas that theoretically catch my interest. For example, years ago I was convinced that performance art compositions were a miracle because of the Chaos theory in physics, where organized chaos was so complex that it was too difficult to perceive the origin, development and end of each action in time-space here and now. Within the context of an event of actions and the probabilities, time stretches out in many directions, making the observable constellation of actions more than chaotic, but four-dimensional almost, in a way that the past, present and future of the actions become one: Anticipation. Therefore, Anticipation in actions becomes crucial to understanding that action could fail even in a prediction, as an action goal is scored to be done, performers in present time-space, live simultaneously in the past present and future of the action, the tension between the action-goal is the vibration, but the anticipation is all the probabilities merge with the past and future of this action. Multidimensional perception requires a performer to perform within an action to improve training and work out through several performance preparations. An example is how to cross at constant speed a mass of crowded people and not change direction. Anticipation switches your present to be merged with your past and future. Such a concept is how I improve daily in my performance lab with the participants of my performance laboratory.
At Cross Purposes, reflections on constellations

When gazing at the night sky together with someone, it can be challenging to guide the other person’s attention to a specific star or cluster. To completely follow the alignment of the eyes and the tip of the index finger to the object in mind would require us to climb into the other, to see the world through their eyes. How do we know if we have the same star in mind as the person next to us? Are we talking at cross-purposes?
At Cross Purposes, reflections on constellations, comprises three texts by different authors on language, narrative, sign and signification, as well as poetry and anxiety in art.
"Accademia di Dame, Vienna 1697" by Susanne Abed-Navandi and Margit Legler

The work presents selected parts of a women's academy in the form of a short film, which was originally performed once at the Viennese court in 1697. The video is the result of an interpretative approach based on the acting techniques of the period when this academy was created. The music harmonises with the movement, which, in turn, follows the affect of the text. The filmed scene was rehearsed by students, graduates and teachers of the Department of Early Music at the University of Music and Arts of the City of Vienna (MUK) as part of the course “Period Acting Techniques“ under the direction of Margit Legler. This work contributes to the visualisation and imaginability of this historical event, where five authors and singers presented speeches, poems and music they had composed themselves on a specific research question. In addition to the score of the selected parts, this publication includes a historical report on the creation of the academy, summarising the findings of a dissertation on music history dedicated to this event (Pumhösl 2014). It concludes with a personal reflection on how the performance of today's interpreters changes when they employ period acting techniques in speeches, recitatives and arias.

The following article presents the current status of the artistic research project Method of Vienna (MoV) and answers the questions:
How can I imagine the MoV initiative in detail?
Which methodological approach was chosen?
Which MoV events have been realized so far?
The presentation ends with a personal reflection after six years of commitment to Method of Vienna, in which current observations, conclusions and the future of the project are put up for discussion.
COMPOST /AS/ COMPOSITION : AN ARCHEOLOGY OF AUTO-EATING

This exposition is a free but un-in-dependent (yes yes complex) reflexion from my ongoing research project on auto/theory aut/istic art/istic achive work is presented as a multi-media work-in-progress chewing itself and re-inventing different ways of re-using it's own material and philosophical heritage. It combines the professional with amateurism, naïveté, affection, private stuff, too-strange-de/signs. The project considers weird and possibly feminist ways of regarding the self as, a kind of digestive system, never separated from bodily metabolism, never separated from earthly or cosmic re-livings of materials and ideas and desires. It works through queer and neuroqueer formulations of textual and textile lives and matters.

A big challenge and mission of this meta-times we live in, is making sense of what is going on when everything is so drastically accelerated. We belong to a strcture of manifested order that we dont understand, so we feel lost and fall in the trap of replicating certain dynamics that are more and more clearly "misleading".
How much we open to flexible and various understandings of life, of time, of mater, will bring us more or less capacities to evolve and move beyond the paradigms that rule our minds, emotions, bodies, and spirits...
My bet is that Art can also be a social tool that can allow cohesion and regeneration as it can bring together different material or ethereal realms, perspectives, affections, etc, representing or potrayng an interacting and overlapping whole that can be grasped and used by US as an expanded way to perceive and interact with reality...
