Marie Koldkjær Højlund is an Associate Professor of Sound Studies at Aarhus University, Denmark. She holds a Ph.D. in Audio Design with a dissertation about sound and noise in Danish Hospitals. Marie is an active sound artist and composer and has been engaged in designing sound environments and installations for various public spaces and hospitals, including the Aarhus 2017 European Capital of Culture project The Overheard.
Morten Breinbjerg is a lecturer in interactive sound design and software studies and holds a Ph.D. in computer music. He has worked with sonification of climate data and cultural heritage dissemination through interactive sound installations. Since 2015, Morten Breinbjerg has headed the Department of Digital Design and Information Studies at the School of Communication and Culture, Aarhus University.
Anette Vandsø is an associate professor and co-director of the research programme in Environmental Media and Aesthetics, whose work explores intersections of environmental issues, (techno-)aesthetic practices and art. She has published broadly on these matters latest in the Bloomsbury Handbook of Sound Art and Nordic Journal of Aesthetics.
