Bryce Peake is an assistant professor of Media and Communication studies and affiliate faculty in Gender + Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. A media anthropologist, his research focuses on political actors' somatic experiences as they are structured by the gendered and racialized histories of media technosciences in the post-World War II British and American Empires. Bryce’s current work is a comparative ethnography of US and British working class white nationalists’ sense(s) of suffering in the moments of Trump and Brexit.
