Beelonging: a refugium for multispecies practice is an artistic research project. It explores the spacemaking processes of refugia through multispecies practices as vital modes of inquiry in the context of ecological and epistemic crises driven by anthropocentric worldviews. Refugia in this context are presented as shelter spaces for multispecies continuities, cultivating kinship and meaning-making. The exposition contributes to ongoing discussions on the more-than-human by developing novel, dynamic methods of exploration. This is illustrated through Beelonging, a multimedia bee hotel installation and the flower seed letter practice, which together cultivate tangible, experiential, and lived encounters for more-than-human dialogue.
