Ana Ramos

Ana Ramos (PhD, Université de Montréal, 2016) is a participant in the 3ecologies project. Her work is devoted to process philosophy inquiry, drawing on both affect theory and media aesthetics. Her research, anchored in the field of philosophy of communication, examines questions concerning mediationperception, and affective immersion. Her latest publication, “Becoming-Body: Embodiment and Affect Experience” (Journal of Science and Technology of the Arts), discusses the aesthetics of being a body by fostering a dynamic approach to subjectivity that highlights the primacy of relation. She is working on a book manuscript called (Im)Mediation, Affective Entanglements, and Communication Theory.
