Harsha Menon


Harsha Menon, M.A., M.F.A. (she/her), is a filmmaking artist and independent scholar interested in decolonial feminisms, queer anthropologies, and sonic ethnographies. With an MFA in Studio Art, she was a Robyn Gittleman Teaching Fellow at Tufts University where she taught Experimental Film, Civic Engagement and Contemporary Art, and Visual Anthropology. She taught in the Department of Media Studies, Philipps-University Marburg, Germany.Harsha makes research-based films, photographs, and sound pieces for the cinema and gallery. Her work has screened at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Paris International Lesbian & Feminist Film Festival, and Sundance Film Festival.
