B. Coutu). Postdoctoral fellow in Philosophy at McGill University, in collaboration with the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisations (IICSI), he performed in festivals, international conferences and concert series in France, Belgium, Canada and United States. Gendron-Blais is the initiator of the Devenir-ensemble, an assemblage of musicians of Montreal working in comprovisation with ambient sounds that contribute to the formation of affective communities.  He is also taken in a creative process with the experimental band – ce qui nous traverse –, while pursuing its own sound experimentations in "solo" (some of his pieces have recently figured on compilations by the label Jeunesse Cosmique and the Dark Outside projects).
