About this exposition

This artistic practice-based research project traces possibilities for aesthetic inquiry through the internal martial art of taijiquan. Developed through experiential and collaborative processes, the artistic research transposes embodied practice and cosmological principles, taking shape as spatial, cinematic, sonic, somatic, and conversational works. This research was undertaken in the context of the PhD-in-Practice programme at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, supported by the FWF Austrian Science Fund.
