Name: Julie Hasfjord Main subject: classical singing Research supervisor: Gerard Bouwhuis Research question: How can I make conscious performance choices when planning a performance, and what impact can this have on my feeling while performing? In this research I have explored the possibilities I have as a performer when it comes to making performance choices. Because I have sometimes struggled with my surroundings in performance situations, I have taken a closer look into why that is and how I can change this in a way that makes more sense to me personally. I have found that there is so much going on during a performance other than the music we sing and play, and this is important and valuable for us to take into consideration when we prepare a performance.
