About this exposition

This project focuses on how percussionists get injured while playing. Six percussionists were interviewed focusing on their injury history and practice habits. This information was brought to medical professionals who helped decipher how the percussionists or their decisions, led them to sustaining a playing related injury. Finally, we compare their stories to current recovery science to see if there are some things we can learn about recovery and preventing injuries.
