Diego Gil studied philosophy and dance in Buenos Aires. Since his graduation from the School for New Dance Development in 2003 he is making performances that mixes philosophical quest with dance practice. Investigating the potential of the body and (its) movement to produce thoughts and feelings that shifts away from common sense frames of interpretation.

Diego Gil sees choreography as a dynamic practice that transforms personal and social and concerns into concepts in motion.

He is currently studying at the Amsterdam Master of Choreography in the theaterschool.

BSIDES is a choreographic project that researches the concept of the refrain as is found in Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari philosophy book "A thousand plateaus". The refrain is a rhytmic movement out and in of chaos and between different signs and codes. In its passage from one territory to the other the refrain transforms (transduces) the codes or signs that encounters. BSIDES gives form to the concept of the refrain through the actions of reciting and singing poems and songs; crossing different aesthetic territories. From a single performer with more than 40 years of experience on stage to a group of performers in a process of formation; from an abstract to a pop environment; and from the point of view of self invention to the one of re appropriation. Lastly the refrain points to a common gesture of any artistic practice. It is a song that one sings in order to find some stability, when walking to the unstable dimensions of the unknown.

Since summer 2013, a slowly growing team of researchers in Zurich and Europe is steadily develoing the local and transversal framework of Immediations. In Zurich, concerns of immediation are focused on the term “Urban Fabric.” The attempt is to interlace expertise in textile and architecture, urban interaction design, and artistic research enabling us to outline, develop and concretize new practices of research and knowledge production through conceptual work aesthetic experiments. The preliminary goal is laying the ground for the second project phase The Anarchive which will primarily be staged in Europe.
