This period started in 2012 and still has a certain impact on my current practice. At that time I was attending pottery ceramic and fusing glass classes at the Fine Art Academy in Moscow. It was a highly conventional type of education, that taught me the most important basics of working with these materials. This education was a starting point of my interest in traditional Slavic clay vessels and different techniques of glazing, for example with milk.
The fusing glass classes was one of my favourite hobbies at that time. The whole process was exciting and working with such unpredictable material as glass was really fun. Since that every artpiece made of glass either stained glass in a cathedral or a contemporary work of art are always getting my attentiom. This technique takes a lot of carefull work that is essential to get a succesfull piece which is so fragile. As well as clay this material is still very interesting to me as far as it requires some work with hands.
