Logically knitting and embroidery with repetitive movements have led me to the theme of patterns and order. I was interested in the structure and order or the chaos of order at the same time. There would not be any order if chaos didn't exist. I already knew something about contemporary artists, but was very curious to understand how the creators of the modern age worked with the same idea of patterns. It brought me to constructivist and suprematist movements and also led to the Dutch Null group, which consisted of Armando (b. 1929), Jan Henderikse (b. 1937), Henk Peeters (b. 1925-2013) and Jan Schoonhoven (1914-1994).
