Since 2018 the period of a full-time exploration of different contemporary artists present at the Russian art scene has started. I found out that there are a lot of galleries and contemporary art museums in Moscow that I have never heard of before. That was the first time when I could consciously tell who my favorite artists were.

Galleries like Triumph, Cube, Fabula, and Anna Nova play a significant role in promoting contemporary art, they provide high-quality platforms for emerging and already established artists to exhibit their works.

Here are some works of the artists, who made me seriously consider a career of an artist. These talented, mostly young, creators really inspired me to dig deeper into the concepts and statements they make with their projects. Through time, some of their strategies have changed, lots of them were forced to leave the country, which taught me that it is okay to be flexible and self-reflect to change and evolve.
