Elizabeth Evans is Assistant Professor of Film and Television Studies at the University of Nottingham. She is the author of Transmedia Television: Audiences, New Media and Daily Life (2011) and has published articles in a number of journals including Media, Culture and Society, Participations, The International Journal of Communication Studies and the Journal of Pervasive Ubiquitous Computing. Her research explores the relationship between audiences, technology and the screen industries with particular emphasis on interrogating the notion of “engagement” and transmedia content.
