Muuttuva säveltäjä: kohti dialogisia käytäntöjä (2023) (The Composer in Flux: Towards Dialogic Practice)

In this research I focus on the composer’s interaction with other agents during the compositional process. Although collaborative ways of working have increased significantly in many fields in recent times, contemporary composers still primarily work alone. In this artistic research, the central aim is twofold: first to expand a composer’s practice towards collaborative, dialogical and social ways of working, and second to reflect how sharing the authorship may gradually change composers’ particular position in the tradition of Western culture.
