This project is designed as an imaginary competition for the students to produce and submit their ideas. It is part of a broader project named Water Land Art Park.
The Water Land Art Park is a public space intervention project coordinated by researchers linked to R3iAP. The object of work is the network of washhouses located in the extreme southwest of the parish of Campanhã, in Porto. In the context of combining the themes of “Water”, “Nature” and Urban Heritage”, it aims to create a network of public art installations that contribute to the valorization of that public equipment, invisible or in a state of “forgetfulness” that for a century was dedicated to the act of “washing”.
