Artist and researcher based in London from 2017 (previously 2002-2011), I earned my MFA at Chelsea College in London (2009). I am currently a PhD student at RomaTre University (Italy) in consortium with the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome (2023-2026) and affiliated to the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication at Birkbeck University (London, March 2025) to research on the ethical paradoxes of one-to-one performance, looking at how to reconfigure care embracing risk and consent as parts of the aesthetic experience. I conceived and edited for the Italian public the book Performance Art: traiettorie ed esperienze internazionali (2018): a collection of essays by foreign artists and authors never translated before. I exhibited in non-profit spaces, including "Cambridge Artworks Gallery" in Cambridge, "Five Years Gallery" and Yinka Shonibare Guest Projects Space in London, “Condotto C” in Rome. I also exhibited for galleries, project spaces and museums in Italy: at “Edieuropa - Qui Arte Contemporanea” and “AlbumArte” in Rome, “Bibo's Place” in Todi, at the Auditorium – Fondazione per la Musica and Macro Museum in Rome; at CIAC - Museum of Contemporary Art of Genazzano (Rome) and at “Pietro and Alberto Rossini Foundation” in Brianza. I realised performances for Venice, Milan and Naples Councils and led workshops for the Italian Academies of Fine Arts of Rome, Bologna and Florence. I also collaborated with: Palazzo Strozzi Educational team, Yunnan Art University (China), Saci Art Centre in Florence and Milano Bicocca University.
