Ana Ribeiro, born in Porto in 1997, is an artist and a researcher at the Foundation for Science and Technology. She primarily works as a visual artist, focusing on the intersection between art and environmental sociopolitical issues. She began her artistic journey at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Porto, where she completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in painting and developed a practice centered around experimenting with materials as a means of understanding the territory. Since 2016, she has been working and exhibiting both individually and collectively, as well as participating in national and international biennials and artistic residencies. Currently, in her doctoral studies in fine arts, she is exploring research aimed at an ecology of mind and action, rethinking nature and the wilderness as spaces of subversion.
