uRom film:

Short film from the mini festival uRom, which we arranged for students and teachers at the Norwegian Academy of Music autumn of 2024 as part of the project dissemination.

Video by Sigurd Ytre-Arne (editing/directing) and Maja Hannisdal (filming)

The album «Skymt» (2023) is an improvisational work by Roggen/Nyhus, based on remnants and memories from songs by Jean Sibelius, that once were composed to poems by Ernst Josephson, Josef Julius Wecksell, Oscar Levertin, Karl August Tavaststjerna, Johan Ludvig Runeberg and Gustaf Fröding.

The album «Symfoni» (2024) contains versions of Romantic works from Richard Strauss, Alma Mahler, Sergej Rachmaninoff, Richard Wagner and Gustav Mahler, and includes texts by Emily Dickinson/Tone Hødnebø. Music and text is moved, recast and rebuilt by Roggen/Nyhus, before taken into a sound world of improvisations together with Morten Qvenild's live electronics.
