Introduction
"Welcome to my archive of visual research. I use photography as a way to explore and better understand the world around me. Most of my artwork begins with an image captured by a camera, usually through digital photography. The process of taking photos and carefully selecting which ones hold potential meaning for my artistic practice is a crucial part of my method. When an image sparks a meaningful thought or idea, I work on developing a plan to convey the intent and significance behind that meaning.
This page serves as a collection of photographs that I find relevant or potentially inspiring for my paintings and sculptural work. Many of the images you’ll see here are my own, used as direct source material in the development of my artworks."
