To investigate the possibility of creating a space to transition into the present moment, I worked in the large BlackBox in the Janskerkhof Theatre of the HKU.
I created an open-flow performance where spectators were invited to come and go as they pleased, within large timeslots. I played live sound and video, morphing the intensities to induce a sense of spatial presence.
The stage itself was open to the spectator and they were encouraged to join me in the white 'transition', with an option to sit and reflect behind the veil.
