GRETA PUNDZAITE is a Doctorate in Arts candidate with research awarded by the Foundation for Science And Technology (Portugal) currently based in Turin and Lisbon. Her relation with movement dates back to a young age and received early training. Graduate of arts-reinforcing high school and studies of Creative Communication with additional competencies acquired in the field of Theatre in birth country Lithuania, she also studied in Croatia’s and Portugal’s academies of Dramatic Arts and for three years, working in performance and choreography, was a member of physical theatre company in Vilnius, Lithuania (dir. Andrius Pulkauninkas) touring in Lithuania, Canada, Colombia and Morocco. Student of Ruta Butkus (dance theatre comma8) and A. Pulkauninkas, work with movement was encountered as of immense power and the means of profound sense that – with received training in various movement techniques and expanded approach stimulated by four-year research alongside Marta Calbi and Vittorio Gallese, introducing to the depths of physicality from a neurological point of view – leads to the search for a sensitive and respectful relation with this power continuing to this day.
