Jan Glöckner is an artist and researcher.
They studied Visual Communication, Fine Art and Media Art/Design at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, Estonian Art Academy Tallinn and Bauhaus-University Weimar. Since 2020 they are a doctoral candidate at the Vilnius Academy of the Arts. Their research interest are the choreographic potential of fungi and humans, with a focus on biotechnology, deep tank fermentation, radio, and an emphasis on ethics.

Every year doctoral candidates of Vilnius Academy of Arts present their practice as research in exhibitions and other professional events. This year due to Covid uncertainties instead of physical exhibition, expositions at Research Catalogue were developed. They present individual artistic research positions by 2nd and 3rd year candidates. We are grateful to Michael Schwab for facilitating workshop and helpful review process.
