Born in Glarus/CH. Lives as artist in Basel and Berlin. She studied painting and audiovisual communication at the Basel School of Design. Active in drawing, video, installation photography and new media.
Assistant to Prof. P. Jenny, ETH Zurich. 1999-2023 Research Associate and Lecturer at Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW. Here she worked on Visitor Centre for UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau Aletsch, partner projects with other universities (Aristotele University, Thessaloniki, University of Applied Arts in Vienna, University of Botswana), research projects, as well as on curriculum related exhibitions, annual topics and publications.
2011 M.A. in transdisciplinarity at ZHdK/Zurich. It is important to her, to approach issues artistically and scientifically. She has played violin since childhood and has orchestral experience. She studied dance and bodywork with Jacqueline Moesch Mampuya and various teachers.

    At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we, in our role as lecturers, conducted hybrid workshops with design and art students from ten partner institutions on five continents. Our goal was to explore soundscapes from different viewpoints, and we were deeply impressed by the outcome. The recordings and their accompanying images and conversations dissolved geographical borders along with social, cultural, and structural differences. We found that a re-sonance or con-sonance emerged from this collective work, in which sounds became manifestations of presence and agency; the sociality and simultaneity of the space we shared together remains with us today. With becoming soundscape, we attempted to bring the social resonance we had experienced in the workshops into the lecture hall.
