Silence surrounds us, silence around us – On creativity in communication (2021) Erika Matsunami
Silence surrounds us, silence around us – On creativity in communication is pre-artistic research for Green x (2022 –). Is language the tool? If it is yes, what kind of tool is the language? Through the language, what can we produce and provide? Thereby, I address the topic of creativity in communication in reading silently, speech, and listening. On creativity in communication is a play to draw models. Thereby the leitmotif is "reading". Critical seeing in a model on reading subjectivity and objectivity at the online artistic representational level, Question for on creativity The research objective(s) is a future idea for physical space and its mobility within virtual space (potentiality) for a new type of idea for notation between tradition and modernity. In this aspect, towards international communication gaps between tradition and modernity, DADA solved the issue of communication and explored a new way of communication, that was not a philosophical metaphor, but rather that consisted of semiotics and semantics in the context of design, was creative. – New visual and auditory codes. Thereby I deal with “Tractatus” - logico of philosophicus, that is a logic of nonsense by Wittgenstein in the theme of space, body and time. "Silence surrounds us, silence around us" is an artistic research series, after "N.N-Zwischenliegend", I have been started to explore in 2020, after the corona-pandemic.

Territorial Art, Design & Architecture (2021) Sergio Montero Bravo
This collaborative and cross-sectoral project addresses places, environments, and spaces beyond mere functional urban endeavors. Within this scope the research activities presented explores possibilities offered when public space is decentralized from the urban norm as means to remediate with lost rural relations and search for ways to drift away from an anthropocentric mindset that fuels the climate crisis. In the past, densification of cities has been considered synonymous with sustainable development, creativity, and innovation. However, a one-sided urban focus leads to disarmament of rural habitats, and further dissociation from human interdependence with non-human nature and its ecological systems made invisible through urban ecologies. Today, adaptation to the most minimal impact of global warming is dependent on the survival of the rural - this artistic research project is therefore primarily informed by activities in rural environments together with other species and ecologies, to challenge urban and human perspectives and what we mean with the word territory. The goal is to investigate how art, design and architectural interventions can foster places of communality, togetherness and interdependency between species based on the urgency to encounter with the challenges of global warming.

Room Ambience: Home as Heard in Film and Media Arts (2021) Budhaditya Chattopadhyay
The article investigates the mediation of homey ambiences or domestic atmospheres and their relation to the outdoors in film and media productions. The article examines how human mediation impacts the perception of site-specific ambient sounds of the home that are aesthetically deployed as auditory backdrops in films and media artworks. The focus is on examining the processes of reconstructing the site of the home through the reproduction, mediation, and rendering of the relatively closed and private indoor sonic environment and its complex relationship to the public outdoors.

SOSIAALISEN SOMATIIKAN UTOPIA: Ruumiin orientaatio tilassa (2021) Ilmari K.
Somatiikka kehittää kykyä tunnistaa totunnaisia liikkumisen tapoja, ja mahdollisuutta murtautua kohti uusia liikemuotoja. Aistiva tutkimus mahdollistaa uudenlaisia yhteyksiä kehon käyttöön sosiaalisen tilan tutkimuksessa.Kutsun ruumiinsosiologian teoriasta ammennettuja harjoituksia sosiaaliseksi somatiikaksi seuraten tutkija Jill Greeniä (2015). Sosiaalisen somatiikan keskeinen kohde on yhteiskunnan säätämät ruumiilliset sijoittumiset tilaan ja somaattisia harjoitusmuodot, jotka kasvattavat kehon sosiaaliseen tiedostamiseen. Kehon pienistä eleistä ja kokemuksesta nouseva muutos voidaan nähdä sosiaalisen tai poliittisen muutoksen mahdollistajana (Manning 2016; Kortelainen 2020). Tarkastelen artikkelissani tätä kehotietoisuudesta nousevaa, ja jokaisen meidän kehoon kytkeytyvää mahdollisuutta sosiaaliselle muutokselle. Sosiaalisen muutoksen kohteena kulttuurisesti luodut kehon kuvat vaikuttavat merkittävästi ihmisten jokapäiväiseen elämään yhteiskunnassa. Sara Ahmedin queer fenomenologian tapaan tarkastelen, kuinka kehon tilallisuus ja kehon suhde objekteihin ja esineisiin vaikuttaa korporeaalisella tasolla siihen, mitä keholta odotetaan.
