Silence surrounds us, silence around us - X (2022) Erika Matsunami
This artistic research "Silence surrounds us, silence around us" was started in 2020 after the corona pandemic. "X" is a new beginning of artistic research in the research series "Silence surrounds us, silence around us". I continuously explore the research method of "work in progress" in artistic research from the perspective of biology. (For a new geometry and a new topology in the arts, in the 21st century) Transdisciplinary artistic research in the visual arts with architecture and music, with regard to transversal aesthetics. Keyword "Ageing" in this artistic research is philosophical consideration. For instance, "capital" in Marx's theory, "immateriality" and "materiality" in capitalism, thereby, how is "Ageing" viewed? What gaps between cultural and mental aspects and social conditions? What role can art play in answering these questions? Therefore, my attempt in artistic research is through string theory as well as Einstein's special relativity theory in the 21st century, to explore the new value (as well as, quantum) of ageing towards capitalism of all democratic social systems and their ideologies for something new. This artistic research is the study of ecology in the sense through art. "Ecology is the process by which organisms interact with each other and their environment, with the environment as a stage and ecology as the performance." (Ecology: A Very Short Introduction, Jaboury Ghazoul, Oxford: OUP, 2020) On the subject of "interaction" from the aspect of ecology, there are gaps between physical phenomenon and virtual phenomenon, between our sense (perception, cognition and recognition) and measurement, the fact what that is. (Normative and Normativity) Thereby, I dealt with these topics through art in the artistic research "Silence surrounds us, silence around us" – X.

Silence surrounds us, silence around us – on creativity in communication (2022) Erika Matsunami
Silence surrounds us, silence around us – on creativity in communication, which interacts with and addresses the theoretical and practical exploring of the artistic research for Green x (2022 –). Simultaneously, it might be possible to create an artistic method of intervention artistically, which aims at the theoretical level evolutionally. Is language the tool? If it is yes, what kind of tool is the language? Through the language, what can we produce and provide? Thereby, I address the topic of creativity in communication in reading silently, speech, and listening. On creativity in communication is a play to draw models. Thereby the leitmotif is "reading". Critical seeing in a model on reading subjectivity and objectivity at the online artistic representational level, Question for on creativity The research objective(s) is a future idea for physical space and its mobility within virtual space (potentiality) for a new type of idea for notation between tradition and modernity. In this aspect, towards international communication gaps between tradition and modernity, DADA solved the issue of communication and explored a new way of communication, that was not a philosophical metaphor, but rather that consisted of semiotics and semantics in the context of design, was creative. – New visual and auditory codes. Thereby I deal with “Tractatus logico-philosophicus”, that is a logic of nonsense by Wittgenstein in the theme of space, body and time. "Silence surrounds us, silence around us" is an artistic research series, after "N.N-Zwischenliegend", I have been started to explore in 2020, after the corona-pandemic.

Scenarchitecture: exhibitions, live events and sited performances in Italy and UK, 2006-2021 (2022) Andrea Moneta
The Exposition illustrates the body of work of 15 years of research-led teaching and professional practice that produced 17 performances, 2 installations and 4 exhibitions in Italy and UK, during the period 2006-2021. They are documented with photos, video documentaries, social media, info about the research and design process to demonstrate impact, significance, and originality. All the output presented in this portfolio involved projects in partnership with universities, research centres, theatres, and cultural institutions. Performances had been developed through Scenarchitecture, a trans-disciplinary methodology developed by Moneta’s research, that blends Scenography with architecture and urban design. Scenarchitecture involves the process of reading, understanding, and interpreting the inner character and performative attributes of architecture and sites, as an in-depth exploration and expression of Spatial Practice and community engagement, essential aspects for any design intervention in a specific place. Scenarchitecture, in fact, can also help designers, stakeholders, and citizens to engage with the character of the place as a propaedeutic step for the co-creation of architectural and urban design that are respectful of places. Performances and related exhibitions, in the roles of designer, exhibitor and director, had been an important step for the author to disseminate Scenarchitecture methodology, and to assess it in different areas: in Research-led teaching at Nottingham Trent University (UK) and University of Rome La Sapienza (Italy); in Professional practice for theatre design and architectural design, as co-founder of cultural association Archabout; in Professional practice for live events in marketing and communication, as co-founder of ethical and un-conventional communication firm Smart Jokes.

Multiple Perceptions of the Everyday Unfolded: The Case Study of Sunnyside (2022) Matilde Meireles
This article introduces the project "Sunnyside", an album and composition created using extended recording techniques inside the domestic space of my home during the initial Covid-19 lockdown in Belfast in 2020. While there was widespread public discourse around the ways in which public and outdoor spaces were changing during the pandemic, there was relatively little discussion concerning the changes occurring in indoor and domestic spaces. "Sunnyside" was an attempt to sense, analyze, and represent those changes and examine what they might mean. The following discussion draws on ideas of critical phonography, systems theory, situated knowledge, and interconnectivity to illustrate the project’s refusal of the physical boundaries of the home under lockdown. This critical reflection on everyday routines underscores the project’s relationship with memory, place, and the sonic documentation of everyday personal auditory experiences while opening up a discussion about social networks, both immediate and distributed.
