Laisvie Andrea Ochoa is a Colombian-Lithuanian choreographer, inclusive dance expert and video artist. She is the leader of “ConCuerpos", the pioneer inclusive dance company in Colombia where mixable dancers come together to develop artistic, educational and research projects. She studied Psychology and a Specialization in Multimedia Creation in Colombia and the Master in Choreography COMMA (CODARTS / Fontys) in the Netherlands. She trained in dance mainly at Danza Comnun Academy in Bogota and has been a dancer there for the companies La Arenera, Tercero Excluido, Korpe and La Gata Cirko. She also danced for the Spanish company Erre que Erre (residence 2012) and for the German choreographer Isabelle Schad (residence 2011 and 2012). Laisvie is a member of the performing arts magazine el cuerpoeSpin and she has co-written 2 books in the field of Inclusive Dance. Laisvie has directed dance works in Colombia, Argentina and The Netherlands. Currently, her main creative exploration is multimedia performance, involving live video projection, while maintaining the values she developed in her inclusive dance practice: work from subjectivity, develop bodily intelligence from a state of listening and find creative freedom from the abundance of imagination. Laisvie addresses political and human issues in her works, with a broad understanding of dance. At the moment she moves between Colombia and the Netherlands, continuing her work with ConCuerpos, being a dance teacher, a performer, a researcher and a maker.

Laisvie Andrea Ochoa es una coreógrafa colombo-lituana, experta en danza inclusiva y video artista. Es co-fundadora y directora de ConCuerpos, la compañía pionera de danza inclusiva en Colombia, donde bailarines con y sin discapacidad se unen para desarrollar proyectos artísticos, educativos y de investigación. Estudió Psicología en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, la Especialización en Creación Multimedia en la Universidad de los Andes y la Maestría en Coreografía COMMA en CODARTS / Fontys en los Países Bajos. Se forma en danza principalmente en la Fundación Danza Común y ha sido bailarina de las compañías Misiconi (Países Bajos), La Arenera (Dir: Margarita Roa), Tercero Excluido (Dir: Natalia Orozco), Korpe (Dir: Edwin Vargas), La Gata Cirko (Dir: Felipe Ortiz y Luisa Montoya), Erre que Erre (residencia 2012) y para la coreógrafa alemana Isabelle Schad (residencia 2011 y 2012 en Alemania). Es miembro de la revista de artes escénicas el cuerpoeSpin y ha co-escrito los libros Cuerpos Potentes e Incluyendo al Cuerpo en el campo de la danza inclusiva. Laisvie ha dirigido obras de danza en Colombia, Argentina y los Países Bajos. Actualmente, su principal exploración creativa es el performance multimedia, donde relaciona la coreografía y la proyección de video en vivo, a la vez que mantiene los valores que desarrolló en su práctica inclusiva: trabajar desde la subjetividad, desarrollar la inteligencia corporal a partir de un estado de escucha y encontrar libertad creativa en la abundancia de la imaginación. Laisvie aborda cuestiones políticas y humanas en sus obras, con una amplia comprensión de la danza. En el momento. se mueve entre Colombia y Países Bajos, continuando con su trabajo en ConCuerpos, siendo profesora de danza, bailarina y creadora.
