Rukous Pyhälle Täplittäjälle
Pyhä Täplittäjä,
leopardin kumppani ja kuvion mestari,
ratsasta edellämme
ja tuo täplät osaksi arkea ja muotia.
Vapauta meidät tylsyydestä,
harmaudesta ja itsensä pienentämisestä.
Anna värin ja kuvion kulkea
siellä, missä rohkeus vielä arkailee.
Alaston kehosi muistuttaa meitä siitä,
ettei kehoa tule hävetä
eikä ihoa piilottaa.
Siunaa meitä,
jotka yritämme mahtua ihanteisiin,
ja niitäkin, jotka ovat jo astuneet
oman nahkansa kokoiseen tilaan.
Pyhä Täplittäjä,
sirottele täpliä poluillemme:
rohkeuden merkkejä,
ilon merkkejä,
itsensä katsomisen ja paljastamisen merkkejä.
Anna meidän kulkea maailmassa
kuin sinun leopardisi:
pelottomasti, kauniisti,
ja ilman tarvetta kutistua kenenkään katseen alle.

Holy Spotter,
companion of the leopard
and master of the pattern,
ride ahead of us
and weave your spots into our daily lives
and into our fashion.
Free us from dullness,
from greyness,
and from making ourselves small.
Let color and pattern move with us
where courage still hesitates.
Your naked body reminds us
that a body is not to be hidden
nor a skin to be shamed.
Bless those of us
who try to fit ideals,
and those who have already stepped
into the true size of their own skin.
Holy Spotter,
scatter spots along our paths:
marks of boldness,
marks of joy,
marks of seeing and revealing ourselves.

as your leopard does:
